NiceFocus is an on-device tool for following text regions on webpages. No NiceFocus account is required. This version has no developer backend, advertising or third-party analytics SDK. It does not upload watched URLs, content, change history or website login information to the developer, and does not track across apps.
Watch names, URLs, region rules, text snapshots, up to 100 change records per watch and handling dates are stored in the app directory. Language and onboarding preferences use system preferences. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple backup settings.
Browsing and checking connect directly to your chosen websites and their resource providers. They may receive your IP address, request information and website cookies under their own policies. WebKit retains cookies, caches and website storage to reuse sessions. NiceFocus does not intentionally store passwords. Avoid selecting sensitive content: non-password input values within selected regions may also be saved.
Optional notification access enables local alerts after on-device checks. Photo add access is requested only when saving a card and does not allow reading your library. Core watch features work without these permissions. Sharing is initiated by you and may include source URLs and selected content; recipient apps apply their own policies.
Delete an individual watch to remove its history. Uninstalling removes local app data, but not exported images, previously shared content or system backups. Use Clear Website Data in the app under Sessions → Privacy & Support to remove cookies, caches and web storage and sign out of websites while retaining watches.
Checks run while the app is in the foreground; continuous checks while closed are not guaranteed. Email the contact above for privacy, deletion or support requests. This policy will be updated if data practices change.
